***2026/2027 Admission Process Begins, Bringing Teacher Education Opportunities Closer to Isinkan and Adjoining Communities
Delar College of Education has commenced operations at a newly established study centre in Okelero Itanonyan Isinkan, Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, as part of efforts to expand access to teacher education in the area.
The study centre, which is just starting off, is located at Goshen Academy, Okelero Itanonyan Isinkan, Akure South Local Government Area, Ondo State, with another study location at Mount Carmel Primary School, Okelero Itanonyan Isinkan, within the same area.
Delar College of Education, which has its headquarters at Ajibulu Estate, Ifaki Road, Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State, is using the new study centre to bring its academic programmes closer to prospective students in Ondo State.
The centre is currently admitting students for the 2026/2027 academic session into various education programmes, including Agricultural Science, Business Education, English/Economics, English/Yoruba, CRS/Economics, CRS/Political Science, CRS/Yoruba, Mathematics/Computer, Social Studies/Yoruba, Early Childhood Education and Primary Education Studies.
Other programmes include Economics/Computer, Integrated Science/Computer, Social Studies/Economics and English Double Major, while degree programmes are also available.
According to the institution, candidates with SSCE, NECO or NABTEB results and at least five O’Level credits in two sittings are eligible to apply, with eligible candidates exempted from JAMB.
The establishment of the new study centre is expected to provide residents of Isinkan, Okelero and adjoining communities with easier access to teacher education and other academic opportunities.
