The Board, in a statement signed by its Secretary, Maj.-Gen. (Rtd.) A.M. Jibril, on Friday, said it was aware of the growing anticipation among applicants across the country over the outcome of the recruitment exercise.
According to the Board, the large number of applications received nationwide requires a comprehensive, fair and transparent selection process to ensure that only qualified candidates are recruited.
It said the exercise would not be rushed, stressing that the selection process must adhere to the principles of justice, merit, federal character and due process, as well as the operational requirements of the four services.
“The recruitment process has taken place, and it has now reached its last stages, which will be completed within four weeks,” the statement said.
The Board assured applicants that once the process is concluded, successful candidates would be notified through the official recruitment platform.
It urged candidates and members of the public to rely on official information from the Board and avoid unverified reports concerning the recruitment exercise.
The CDCFIB also thanked applicants for their patience, assuring them that their patience would be rewarded.
Candidates are expected to monitor the official recruitment portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, for updates on the conclusion of the exercise and further instructions.
