The Iralepo of Isinkan Kingdom in Akure West LCDA in Ondo State, Oba (Barrister) Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III), the Olusi Obarisa, has congratulated the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi on his 50th birthday.
The Isinkan Monarch in a statement described the Ooni as a source of pride to all in Yorubaland and beyond saying Oba Ogunwusi’s commitment to progress is a beacon of hope for generations to come.
“On the occasion of your 50th birthday, I on behalf of myself, my family and the people of Isinkan kingdom in Akure West LCDA of Ondo State extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you.”
“You have brought, not only glamour, but also a renewed sense of purpose to the revered institution of the Ooni. Your leadership has been a source of pride to all of us in Yorubaland, and your commitment to peace, progress and the economic development of Yorubaland is a beacon of hope for generations to come.”
“I celebrate you today for your dynamic approach to the throne of your fathers, making it to retain its reverence and balancing this with tradition, which you carry dutifully and with royalty.”
“By your rapprochement with other traditional rulers, you have eased old tensions between kingdoms and brought harmony to Yorubaland.”
“As Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN), you have also shown outstanding leadership by building bridges – this I find particularly endearing for the good of our nation.”
“These qualities are no surprise to me, our interactions back then in the higher institution showed that you have a lot to offer your generation, Yorubaland, Nigeria, and the world. I could recollect the bond of friendship that existed between us in the early 90s when you were studying Accountancy and I studied Insurance.”
“We never knew we could be traditional rulers of our various communities, but the traits were there. A wonderful work of God and destiny at play.”
“Your Imperial Majesty, I wish you a Happy Birthday today not only as the Arole Oduduwa of the Source but also as a leader who has shown great commitment to peaceful coexistence and overall development of our nation.”
“Kabiyesi, I wish you long life, and long may you reign.”
