The BTO Coalition Platform for PBAT 2027 has declared its determination to secure more than one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Ondo State in the 2027 presidential election.
The coalition made the declaration at a mega rally held at the Ikare-Akoko Cenotaph in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of the state.
Sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the group said it had commenced grassroots mobilisation, voter education and sensitisation across the state ahead of the election.

Addressing hundreds of supporters at the rally, the National President of the coalition, Otunba Abubakar Adesina, said Tinubu’s achievements in education, healthcare, housing, urban development and road construction were sufficient reasons to seek his re-election.

He described the rally as part of the coalition’s voter enlightenment programme aimed at increasing participation in the electoral process and mobilising support for Tinubu.
Adesina expressed concern over the low voter turnout recorded in the last election, noting that although Ondo State had about 1.9 million registered voters, only about 300,000 participated in the election.

He said the coalition would intensify its grassroots campaign to encourage eligible voters to register, obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and participate actively in the 2027 election.
“Our task is to inform the people of Ondo State about their voting rights, encourage them to participate in the electoral process and vote for the candidates of their choice. We are also giving the message that they should support Tinubu in 2027,” he said.
The United Kingdom Coordinator of the coalition, Sam Adedayo Adegbite, said the rally was aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and providing political education while showcasing what the group described as the achievements of President Tinubu and Tunji-Ojo.
Adegbite stressed that the coalition was not a one-off campaign organisation, but a structured platform with members across Ondo State and other parts of the country.
Similarly, the National Organising Secretary, Engineer Beremoye Samuel, said the coalition was motivated by the performance of Tinubu and the developmental initiatives of the Interior Minister.
He said representatives from all 18 local government areas of Ondo State attended the rally and pledged to take the campaign to their respective communities.
The rally attracted youths, artisans, market women and professionals, who expressed their readiness to participate in the coalition’s mobilisation and voter sensitisation activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
