As the presidential election primary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) draws near, a group ‘ TINUBU VANGUARD HOPE OF NIGERIA has been inaugurated in Ondo State.
The group with the aim of sensitizing the people on the need to see Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu as the candidate to beat in the 2023 general elections.
The group which cut across various political device and interest.
The convener of the group in Ondo State, Barrister Williams Daodu who spoke through the state Coordinator, Mr Bode Famose, said the group which comprises people of likes mind in the state decided to come together and work for the success of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forth coming APC primary and the general elections.
Mr Famose who expressed confidence in the ability of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver, said he is the best candidate in the race.
He said Tinubu has distinguished himself as the best presidential aspirant for the number one seat in Nigeria.
According to him, ‘ Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demostrated competence, courage, intellectual to deliver Nigeria from it’s woods.
While noting the various developmental strides of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Governor in Lagos State for 8 years, the group assured that he’s ready to use the same template to tackle Various challenges facing Nigeria.
Chief (Mrs.) Florence Lawani, the woman leader among the group, explained that the group would take the campaign to the grassroots and speak with market women so that Tinubu would be elected president in the general elections in 2023.
She said: “We are joining other teams to ensure Tinubu is elected President of Nigeria.
“I represent the grassroots, market women, I’ll tell everyone in the market, religious gathering that the person who can turn the nation round is Tinubu.
Let us ensure he gets there.”
Senator Tony Adeniyi(SAN), who was at the event, disclosed that some Northerners began the campaign for Tinubu, adding that it prompted them to start South West Agenda For Asiwaju (SWAGA).
He said Tinubu has what it takes to reposition the nation and turn the life of the citizenry around.
Other Leaders of the group included representative of youths, women, physically challenged and civil society Organizations opined that if giving the opportunity, Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu would use his experience and connections within and outside the country to transform Nigeria.
They agreed to work for the success and actualisation of the dream of a new Nigeria through Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
