Clergyman and author, Pastor David Kayode Falade, popularly known as D.K. Falade, on Saturday unveiled his latest Christian book titled From Palm Sunday to Resurrection Day… Who Are You?, describing it as a call to self-examination and deeper commitment to the Christian faith.
The book was unveiled during a ceremony held at Life Bible Church, Obaile, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Speaking at the unveiling, Pastor Falade said the publication was inspired by a season of prayer, Bible study, divine revelation and writing. According to him, the book challenges believers to reflect on the decisions and attitudes of individuals who encountered Jesus Christ between His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and His resurrection.
He explained that the central theme of the book is to encourage Christians to ask themselves a vital spiritual question: “If you were present during those defining moments in Christ’s earthly ministry, who would you have been?”
Falade noted that the book is designed for believers, pastors, church leaders and Christian workers, adding that each chapter concludes with prophetic prayers aimed at inspiring spiritual renewal and a stronger relationship with God.
He described the publication as more than a book to be read once, saying it serves as a spiritual mirror that readers can continually revisit as they grow in their Christian walk.
The cleric appealed to pastors and church leaders across denominations to obtain copies of the book, teach its lessons and recommend it to members of their congregations, expressing confidence that its message would inspire renewed faith and commitment to Christ.
He also announced that the official global book launch and fundraising ceremony would take place in December 2026. The event, he said, is expected to bring together churches, Christian leaders, ministry partners and supporters to raise funds for the large-scale printing and free distribution of the book.
According to Falade, the initiative aims to make the book available to pastors, Bible schools, students, missionaries, correctional centres, and individuals who cannot afford to purchase copies, both within Nigeria and abroad.
“This vision is about ensuring that the message reaches thousands of lives for the advancement of God’s kingdom. Through the support of partners and friends of the ministry, we hope to place this book in the hands of people who need it most,” he said.
Pastor Falade dedicated the book to the late Pastor Israel Olukolade, whom he described as a committed servant of God whose encouragement and support played a significant role in the realization of the project.
