Renowned pastor, digital media strategist and creative entrepreneur, Pastor David Kayode Falade, has added another milestone to his growing profile with the unveiling of his latest Christian book, From Palm Sunday to Resurrection Day… Who Are You?
Falade, widely known for his contributions to ministry, digital communication and community development, unveiled the book on Saturday at Life Bible Church, Obaile, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Beyond the pulpit, Falade has distinguished himself as a digital media guru with a track record of innovative projects that have impacted both the Christian community and the wider society. As part of activities marking Ondo State’s Golden Jubilee celebration, he produced a special theme song for Ondo@50, a project that received commendation for celebrating the state’s rich heritage and aspirations.
His commitment to community service also found expression in 2020 when he established Akure Radio, a community-based radio initiative created to inform, educate and engage residents at the grassroots. Although the platform operated until 2021, its impact earned Falade recognition and an award from the Akure community under the Deji of Akure for its contribution to community development and information dissemination.
Speaking at the unveiling of his new publication, Falade said the book was birthed through a season of prayer, intensive Bible study, divine inspiration and writing.
According to him, the publication examines the lives and decisions of the men and women who encountered Jesus Christ between His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and His resurrection, challenging readers to ask themselves the thought-provoking question: “If you were there, who would you have been?”
He described the book as a spiritual mirror designed to provoke self-examination among believers, pastors, church leaders and Christian workers, adding that every chapter concludes with prophetic prayers aimed at inspiring spiritual renewal and deeper commitment to God.
Falade urged pastors and church leaders across denominations to obtain copies of the book, teach its message and recommend it to members of their congregations, expressing confidence that it would contribute to strengthening the Christian faith.
The cleric also announced that the official global book launch and fundraising ceremony would hold in December 2026 to mobilise support for the large-scale printing and free distribution of the publication.
He explained that proceeds from the fundraising would enable the book to be distributed free of charge to pastors, Bible schools, theological students, missionaries, inmates of correctional centres and other individuals who may not be able to afford copies, both in Nigeria and beyond.
“This vision is to ensure that this message reaches thousands of lives for the advancement of God’s kingdom. We believe that through the support of churches, Christian leaders, ministry partners and friends, this book will become a tool for spiritual transformation across nations,” he said.
Falade dedicated the book to the late Pastor Israel Olukolade, whom he described as a devoted minister of God who believed in his vision and provided invaluable encouragement during the project.
The book is now available to the public, while preparations are underway for the December 2026 global launch and fundraising event expected to attract Christian leaders, churches and ministry partners from within and outside Nigeria.
