Akeredolu will get block votes in Akoko —Rasheed Badmus

Ahead of the Ondo state Governorship election, one of the APC leaders in Akoko North West Local Government Area of the state and Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Alhaji Rasheed Badmus, has again called on the people of Akoko land to troop out on Saturday and deliver block votes for APC.

The commissioner who expressed confidence that the APC candidate, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu would win the October 10, 2020 governorship election by a wide margin, equally urged all the four local governments in Akoko to be part of the victory of the Governor so that the good works could continue in the area and the entire state.

Badmus explained that, a vote for Governor Akeredolu is a vote for continuity of good governance and consolidation of sustainable socio-economic development of the state.

He urged Akoko sons and daughters to come together as one and vote massively for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who he said has done a lot to transform Akoko land which had hitherto been neglected by the past administration.

The Afin-Akoko born indigene explained that all the leaders of the party have moved round the local government campaigning for the second term re-election of the Governor to ensure landslide victory.

He appreciated the people for the warm reception given to the party leaders and other members of the campaign committee in the local government, saying the rousing welcome that greeted the campaign rally has further demonstrated people’s love for the governor.

The commissioner used the occasion to applaud Governor Akeredolu for the aggressive infrastructural drives leading to the construction of many roads including the notorious Okealabojuto dual carriage way, the dreaded Oke-Oka road, Ikare-Akoko township road, Ore Redemption Bridge, Ore Industrial Hub, renovation of schools, building of hospitals, water projects among several other projects, noting that the landmark achievements of the Governor would make the people re-elect him for another term.

He described Governor Akeredolu as a reliable, trustworthy and dependable leader who would not make promises that would not be fulfilled, which is why the Governor is being referred to as ‘Talk and Do’

Speaking on the mammoth crowd that attended the final rally of the APC held at the Akure City stadium, Badmus stressed that the large turn out of people was a sign of victory for the Governor and the APC.
