The Ondo State office of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT), located at Adegbola Junction in Akure, the state capital, has undergone a facelift ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The renovation was sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, as part of efforts to improve the movement’s operational base and strengthen its activities in Ondo State.
The building, which comprises four flats with three rooms in each flat, has been refurbished to provide an improved environment for the movement’s political coordination, meetings and grassroots engagement.

The development comes as GMT continues its political activities in Ondo State, with a focus on mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
The movement’s activities include grassroots mobilisation, engagement with political stakeholders, coordination of supporters and promotion of its political messages across communities in the state.
Its slogans, including “On the Renewed Mandate of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, We Stand” and “BTO, Everywhere You Go,” reflect its support for the President’s second-term ambition and its association with Tunji-Ojo, popularly known as BTO.
The message, “Ondo Subject Matters, BTO,” also features in the movement’s campaign communication, highlighting its focus on political engagement within the state.
The renovated office is expected to serve as a central point for GMT’s activities, providing space for meetings, planning and coordination of its mobilisation efforts ahead of the elections.
With the 2027 general elections approaching, the facelift represents an investment in the movement’s physical infrastructure as it continues to organise its supporters and expand its grassroots presence across Ondo State.
