Announces Launch of Operation Akure Delivers 100,000 Votes for Aiyedatiwa, Meets Political Leaders
The Transition Chairman of Akure west LCDA, Hon. Sunday Adejuyigbe has announced the launch of operation Akure Delivers 100 thousand votes for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa ahead the November 16 governorship election in Ondo State.
He made the announcement during a courtesy visit on some APC leaders from the various wards in Akure South Local government.
Hon. Adejuyigbe who with others met with the Executive Director(Corporate Services) of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde said their visit was anchored on the development of Akure division and the need to deliver massive votes for Governor Aiyedatiwa come November 16th 2024 gubernatorial elections.
Hon Adejuyigbe eulogised Hon. Abegunde for his leadership role in Ondo State, most especially in Akure, describing him as an Architect of change in Ondo State politics and Nigeria at large.
“You have shown dedication to public service, through your exceptional and massive generosity to everyone, particularly by making youself available almost every other week despite the fact that your office is located in Porthacourt and throwing your doors open to everyone that comes around to seek assistance, these attributes are worthy of emulation.”
Adejuyigbe said the need to deliver Ondo State for APC cannot be overemphasized, saying Ayedatiwa must not only win Ondo State but must win convincingly in Akure South local government areas.
He stated that the leaders are targeting a minimum vote of one hundred thousand for APC and Governor Ayedatiwa in Akure South alone, hence the launch of operation 100,000 votes for him.
The chairman of Oyemekun LCDA, Hon. Ifedayo Ologometa also said the unity of Akure leaders and communities is vital at this crucial time than ever so as to achieve the goal.
Hon Ifedayo Abegunde promised to affirmly stand with the people of Akure and Ondo State at large at all times.
He emphasized that all his desire for now is to ensure Aiyedatiwa’s victory at the poll and that in the next few days, he would be relocating fully to Akure to deploy all resources and political sagacity to achieve the target.
He said he would reach out to his fellow leaders in Akure South, Akure North and Ifedore local governments to foster unity so as to make the goal a reality.
He advised everyone to work hard for the victory of APC/Aiyedatiwa come Nov 16, 2024 gubernatorial elections.
