The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Williams Folorunsho Kumuyi is set to visit members of the church in ondo state.
During a press briefing, the Ondo State Overseer of the church, Pastor Isaac Olugbogi said the visit is purely to hold services and meetings with members of the church and not a public crusade.
This year, the General Superintendent of the church, Pastor Dr. Williams Kumuyi will be holding services in ondo state.
The overseer of the church in the state, Pastor Isaac Olugbogi told newsmen that the services are not public crusades and will be held in strict compliance to covid-19 safety protocols.
According to him, Pastor Kumuyi will hold a meeting with workers of the church in the state on Saturday, January 9 at the church Campground opposite FUTA North Gate in Àkúré by four ó clock in the evening.
Pastor Kumuyi will also hold covenant Sunday service with church members at the Campground while on Monday, he will be overseeing the church’s Bible study from the same venue.
The state overseer also said arrangements have been made to transmit the services to the people of ondo state through radio, television channels and online platforms.
He urged attendees to go with their face masks and also hinted that sitting arrangements have been made in line with social distancing rules while provision has been made for soap and water at the entrances of the Campground for thorough hand wash.

Deeper Life Press Briefing
Gentlemen of the press, I welcome you to this briefing. Permit me to first say, Happy New year to you all and I wish you a prosperous and productive 2021. This year is indeed going to be a great year for us in ondo state as the Lord is bringing our father, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Williams Folorunsho Kumuyi to visit the Church and bless the people as we journey in the new year. This is in accordance to the ministerial principles of follow up and discipleship.
Against this background, gentlemen of the press, it is my pleasure to inform you that Pastor Kumuyi will be visiting Ondo state to hold services with members and leaders of the church. Permit me to emphasise that this is not in anyway a public crusade or rally as the church is also fully aware of the health challenges of the moment, the COVID-19 pandemic.
The programmes to be held are therefore as follows:
On Saturday, January 9, 2021, Pastor Kumuyi will be meeting with workers of the church and his message will be beamed live from the Deeper Life Campground, opposite FUTA noth gate to the whole world via satellite signals.
On Sunday, January 10, 2021, in continuation of the covenant services of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry in the beginning of every year, Pastor Kumuyi will be ministering to all the members of the church all over the world from the Campground in Akure here where the Lord will be reassuring His people of better days ahead in the new year.
Members of the church will also be having direct expository and systematic study of the word of God during the Monday Bible Study on January 11, 2021 with Pastor W. F Kumuyi live here in Àkúré at the church Campground and it will be beamed live to the whole world therefrom.
The General Superintendent, Pastor Kumuyi, will also be meeting with all the leaders of the church on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the church Campground opposite FUTA North Gate here in Àkúré.
Let me, at this juncture, gentlemen of the press, reiterate that these special services are not crusades but meetings with members of the church and these services will be held in strict compliance to covid-19 safety protocols in view of current global health reality. Therefore, every member attending the services are expected to come with their face masks while provision has been made for soap and water at the entrances of the Campground for thorough hand wash and the sitting arrangements have been made in line with social distancing rules.
