Celebration Church International (CCI), Akure, will commemorate its third anniversary with a week-long celebration featuring themed worship services designed to showcase faith, culture and community engagement.
The anniversary programme begins on Sunday, July 12, with a special Retro Sunday service, where members and guests are encouraged to attend in vintage-inspired outfits. The service is scheduled to commence at 9am.
The celebration will culminate on Sunday, July 19, with the church’s third anniversary thanksgiving themed “Aso-Oke Renaissance.”
The event is expected to celebrate God’s faithfulness over the past three years while promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage through the use of traditional Aso-Oke attire.
The anniversary service will hold in two sessions to accommodate worshippers. The first service is billed for 8am., while the second service will begin at 10:45am.
According to the organisers, the anniversary is expected to bring together members of the church, residents of Akure and visitors for a time of thanksgiving, worship and celebration.
Both events will take place at the Celebr8 Centre, opposite Signatures, Alagbaka GRA, Akure.
The church has invited members of the public to participate in the activities as it celebrates three years of ministry, growth and impact in Ondo State.
