Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to formally receive the presidential flag and certificate of return of the All Progressives Congress on Sunday, following his emergence as the party’s candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
The presentation will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre after the nationwide collation of results from the APC presidential primary election.
The event is expected to attract APC governors, members of the party’s National Executive Committee and National Working Committee, lawmakers of the National Assembly, as well as other party leaders and stakeholders from across the country.
The Presidential Primary Elections Committee is expected to officially hand over the party’s flag and certificate to President Tinubu, signifying the formal conclusion of the APC presidential primary process ahead of the 2027 general election.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Saturday by presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.
