The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the list of House of Representatives aspirants marked “not cleared” across several states ahead of the party’s National Assembly primaries for the 2027 general elections.
According to the list released on Saturday, affected states include Ondo, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Kogi and Rivers.
In a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party explained that the outcome followed the conclusion of its screening exercise for aspirants seeking to contest the House of Representatives primaries.
The statement noted that the screening was conducted by the party’s designated committees in line with established procedures and guidelines guiding the primary election process.
According to the statement, “The screening exercise was conducted by the Party’s Screening Committees in line with established procedures and guidelines.”
The party added that only aspirants who successfully scaled the screening process would be eligible to participate in the forthcoming primaries.
