APC RECURRING VIOLENCE
Our attention has been drawn to the distorted Press statement signed by one Olabode Richard Olatunde, the spokesperson of Aketi/ Ayedatiwa Campaign Organization on the ongoing barbaric attacks on the members of People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) & innocent residents within Akure Metropolis.
In his desperate but puerile bid to exonerate his Party- All Progressives Congress (APC) from the mayhem, he turned the truth upside down & mischievously linked our Principal- Hon. Omolafe Adedayo who is popularly called Expensive, among other undisclosed PDP leaders to this uncivilized gangsterism & despicable political terrorism.
The said attacks & sporadic shootings at Obanla, Odopetu & other hot spots in Akure were carried out, in the full glare of the bewildered members of the Public, by some notable thugs of the ruling All progressives Congress with the active involvement of Mr Adebo Idajo- Ondo State Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers ( NURTW).
In recent days, it has become a source of concern in Ondo state, the brazen destructions, shootings & killings at the behest of the ruling APC, obviously as a result of its decline popularity & fear of rejection at the polls by our conscious electorate.
The outgoing Government has resorted to different forms of braggadocio & lawlessness to disturb the hitherto peaceful coexistence of all the decent inhabitants of our Dear state.
Our Principal, Hon. Omolafe Adedayo, who at different fora, always preaches peace & decency in all his campaigns & would not encourage, covertly or overtly rascality among party members to gain undue electoral advantage for our highly favoured Governorship candidate Eyitayo Jegede SAN, who is poised to win, according to the popular demand, this week Saturday’s gubernatorial election.
We commend the prompt efforts of the security Agencies who were drafted to these scenes to restore sanity & appeal passionately to Akerodolu- Led Government to play the game by the rules with optimum decorum as God & posterity will definitely judge individuals’ actions if not now but later.
