APC Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr, Urges Continued Prayers for Nigeria
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has congratulated the Muslim community on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, describing the period as a significant spiritual exercise marked by devotion, discipline, and sacrifice.
In a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Muyide Kayode, the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, commended the Muslim Ummah for their steadfastness, self-denial, and unwavering prayers for the peace and progress of Nigeria.
He described Ramadan as “a very important spiritual moment” for adherents of Islam, noting that the values of patience, humility, and compassion demonstrated during the period are essential for national development.
Hon. Babatunde further appreciated the continued support of the Muslim community for the APC-led government in Ondo State and called for sustained engagement and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
While urging Muslims to maintain their prayers beyond the holy month, the APC Chairman emphasized the need for collective supplication for the nation’s peace, security, and development.
“Continuous prayers for the peace, development of our land, and the security of Nigeria are very essential,” he stated.
He also reassured the Muslim community of the government’s commitment to inclusive governance and continued support.
The party wished Muslims in Ondo State and across Nigeria a joyful and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
