The Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Mobilization and Yeye Oge of Akure land, Chief (Mrs) Oluwadare Funmilola, has felicitated the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the occasion of his 61st birthday, describing him as a visionary leader with a deep commitment to inclusive governance and people-centred development.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Sunday, Chief (Mrs) Funmilola extolled Governor Aiyedatiwa’s unwavering dedication to women mobilization and empowerment, noting that his administration has deliberately positioned women as critical stakeholders in governance, economic growth and community development across the state.
She said the governor’s leadership has given renewed hope to women in Ondo State through deliberate policies, appointments and programmes that promote gender inclusion, entrepreneurship, skills acquisition and access to opportunities.
“Your Excellency’s belief in the capacity of women to drive social and economic change is evident in your actions. From governance to grassroots mobilization, women have found a dependable ally in your administration,” she said.
Chief (Mrs) Funmilola further praised Governor Aiyedatiwa’s developmental strides across key sectors of the state’s economy, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, security and social welfare, noting that his steady and purposeful leadership has continued to translate vision into tangible results for the people.
According to her, the governor’s development agenda has been marked by continuity, stability and people-focused interventions that are impacting communities in both urban and rural areas.
She described Dr. Aiyedatiwa as a bridge-builder whose leadership style prioritizes unity, consultation and grassroots engagement, adding that his mobilization efforts have strengthened public confidence in government and deepened citizen participation in governance.
“As you mark your 61st birthday, we celebrate a leader whose humility, resilience and commitment to service have continued to inspire trust and loyalty among the people of Ondo State,” she stated.
Chief (Mrs) Funmilola prayed for good health, wisdom and renewed strength for the governor, expressing confidence that his administration would continue to deliver sustainable development and inclusive progress for Ondo State in the years ahead.
