The first female Army General in Ondo State, Brigadier General Bolanle Ajayi-Kayode has congratulated the State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa over his victory at the last gubernatorial poll in the state.
In a congratulatory message made available to Journalists, Brigadier General Ajayi-Kayode said the victory is a testament to the governor’s state wide acceptability by the people of Ondo State.
“It has never happened in the political history of Ondo State that a Governor would sweep votes in all the eighteen local government areas of the state.”
“This unprecedented feat could only be achieved because the people of the state are in love with his programmes and policies.”
“The electorate have reciprocated his life transforming gesture and developmental strides by voting overwhelmingly for him. I give kudos to the good people of Ondo State for responding positively to the governor’s disposition.”
Brigadier General Ajayi-Kayode expressed optimism that next term would witness bountiful harvest of democratic dividends for the people of Ondo State.
“I hope your Excellency will use the victory to further embark on developmental heights of Ondo State, especially in the area of Poverty Alleviation (ameliorate the welfare of downtrodden), expansive Infrastructure Development and Youths Empowerment.’
