Interior Minister, Tunji-Ojo Mulls Producing International Passports Locally

The Minister of Interior Hon. (Dr) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is forging ahead on his quest to leverage on improved technology to achieve the components of the Renewed Hope of President Bola Tinubu administration.

The latest effort was a high-powered meeting with an indigenous technology company in his office in Abuja.

The team presented a proposal on localizing Nigeria international passport production.

The Minister, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo emphasized that all required structures and processes are being put in place to justify the confidence the people have in President Tinubu’s capacity to restore the lost glory of the country.

The Minister added that Nigerians should not pass through difficulties before they have access to basic requirements of life.

The leader of the delegation, Kofo Akinkugbe said the outfit has played significant roles in leveraging on technology to make life easier for individuals and corporate organisations.

Kofo Akinkugbe is the founder and CEO of SecureID, “Africa’s leading manufacturer of smart cards and other identity documents”.
