JUST IN: Iralepo Installs 29th Olisa of Isinkan Kingdom Amidst Glitz and Glamour

The Iralepo of Isinkan Kingdom in Akure south local government area of Ondo State, Oba Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula has installed a retired Teacher, Oluyi kayode as Olisa of Isinkan.

High Chief Olisa was an astute teacher who had taught in several secondary schools in Ondo State, including Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure.

The installation ceremony at Ita Owa in Iralepo’s palace in Isinkan was colourful with array of dignitaries in attendance including Olus in Isinkan Kingdom, Chiefs, High Chiefs, Members of Organization of Friends and Members of Oyemekun Socialite club.

The Oluloye family members, headship of Oluloye family land landlords association and youths from Oluloye community also graced the occasion.

Performing the installation, Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III) said High Chief Luyi Kayode was unanimously presented by Oluloye’s family for the installation as high chief Olisa of Isinkan after due process.

While saying the development of Isinkan is dear to his heart, Oba Olofin-Adimula called on all sons and daughters of the kingdom to key into the vision.

He also enjoined the people of Isinkan and members of Oluloye’ family to rally round high chief Olisa to achieve success.

Iralepo who said he’s thirsty for development of his domain called on business minded people to come and invest in Isinkan kingdom.

“We have a business friendly environment in Isinkan, thanks to Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN who provided the enablement, we call on you all to come and invest in our kingdom.”

“Let me reiterate here and now that we will not allow anyone to encroach on our land, I beseech you to help protect the land against invaders.”

“Oluloye is holding a massive land on behalf of Iralepo, come up with more of your sons to be installed Olus on the land.” Oba Olofin-Adimula tasked

The new Olisa thanked the Iralepo council of chiefs for considering him worthy of the chieftaincy title.

He promised to leverage on his contacts for the benefit of Isinkan kingdom and pledged his unalloyed loyalty to Iralepo.

The new Olisa of Isinkan, born in 1955 is now the second in command to the Iralepo of Isinkan. He replaces the former Olisa, High Chief Delly Olasehinde who passed away seven years ago.
