The Ekiti State government has declared Thursday 27th January, 2022 as a work free day in both public and private Secondary and primary schools.
This is contained in a circular issued by the State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Though reason for the work free day was not stated, this might not be unconnected with APC Governorship primary election coming up in the state tomorrow.
APC is using direct mode for the primary election.
