The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has constituted its campaign committee for the February 26 Bye-Election into the vacant seat of the Akure South/Akure North federal constituency in the House of Representatives.
A former Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, popularly known as Tukana, has been appointed as the Chairman to lead the campaign for the candidate of the party, Mr. Mayokun Lawson-Alade (LAF) in Akure South while a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Akinola Faleye, will be in charge of the campaign in Akure North.
The Bye-Election holds on Saturday, February 26 in Akure South and Akure North local government areas of the State.
Also, the State Youth Leader of the APC, Mr. Ayo Olawande, will serve as the Director General of the campaign.
The LAF/APC campaign for the bye-election will be flagged off on February 17, while the final campaign rally will hold on February 23.
