The Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, FIBAN will tomorrow Sunday 30th of July, 2023 confer a Media Award of Excellence on a guru in computerized video editing and video maker of repute, Mr Kayode Falade.
According to a letter conveying the message and signed by the National General Secretary of the association, Kike Ogunsina-Obabi, the event tagged “Time out with Personalities in the Broadcast industry” will hold at Fa fun event centre, opposite Army Barracks on Ondo road by 12 noon.
Mr Falade is one of the two that were picked from the industry who are practitioners over the time and have made great imparts and their works have been placed on very high level for upcoming ones to emulate.
The association said Mr Falade was considered for the award because of his landmark achievements in the film industry.
“Aside making impacts, the other reasons for which you were considered worthy of this honour are contained in a special audio-visual documentary that will be premiered at the event to capture to capture your enormous contributions in the media and multi media world, paving ways for more professionals in Nigeria.”
The body said some Governors and seasoned Broadcasters will grace the event.
The event will also feature public lecture, interactive session, comedy, cultural display and award presentation.
In his 25 years in the industry, Mr Falade has become household name in shooting, directing, editing, producing and packaging.
He has worked on music video albums of Yinka Ayefele MON, Tope Alabi, Lara Olubo, Diromola, Bukola Akinade Senwele Jesu, Esther Igbekele, Bukola Abegunde’s I am, that I am, Igi Aruwe soundtrack video by Femi Fadeyi, Lanre Teriba Atorise’s Alagbawi Nla, Dr. Mrs. Bisi Alawiye’s Emi Mimo Ese, Owo Nla, Ayipada, Mama Bola Aare’s top notch live video, which recorded the highest number of sales among others.
