PRESS STATEMENT
The Association of Online Media Practitioners in Ondo state has condemned strongly, the action of some hoodlums who in their shallow minds burnt the party Secretariats of All Progressives Congress, APC and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the state under the disguise of #EndSARS protest.
However, the leaders of the two parties and their supporters are brothers and sisters, who wine and dine together before the sudden encroachment of the miscreants that wanted to plant the seed of discomfort between them and incite crisis in the state.
As good Nigerians and agitators of good governance in the country, we sympathize with the two parties over the ugly incident and condemn the dastardly acts of the hoodlums.
We, therefore, urge the leaders of the two parties to embrace peace and live in harmony for the betterment of our dear Sunshine state.
We also use this medium to sympathise with the Governor of the state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for the destruction of his campaign office and other public property across the state, including the shuttle buses.
