Dr Tola Emmanuel Awosika (TEA) on Wednesday visited the Federal Medical Center, Owo, to show compassion and donate relief materials in support of the victims of the barbaric attack on St. Francis Catholic Church in the peaceful city.
Dr. Tola Awosika who was represented by his Team, expressed his heartfelt condolence to the families of those that lost their lives to the unfortunate incident and prayed for the repose of their souls.
The donation is to support the victims who are being treated in different hospitals within the city and complement the efforts of the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in terms of support and care for the victims who are currently recieving treatment in the hospital.
“I wish to commend the government of Ondo state under the leadership of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for rising to the occasion to support the families and taking appropriate steps to ensure the perpetrators are found and brought to justice.” He said.
Members of the team paid a solidarity visit to St. Francis Catholic Church where they met and commiserated with the Parish priest, the Igbo community and the church leadership.
He also donated cash to support the church.
