Nurses in Ondo state government hospitals who started strike last night have suspended the action immediately after government begins payment of September 2020 salaries to workers in the state including the health staff.
SUNSHINETRUTH reliably gathered that the nurses and some other workers have started receiving salary alert for the month of September.
The nurses who did not attend to patients since morning, have started performing their official duties from this afternoon after they received salary alert.
The nurses under the aegis of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, (NANNM), had said nonpayment of their salaries and deduction had caused untold economic hardship on them and turn them to beggars.
But government reacted by paying the workers from today.
