In a bid to ensure a good outing at next year’s National sports festival tagged Ogun 2025, Ondo state Ministry, Youth development and sports has reconstituted various sporting committees earlier dissolved this year .
This became necessary as the ministry is poised to set up mechanisms that will enhance good results at the games in line with the vision of the sports loving Governor of Ondo state , Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa who is poised at developing sports in ondo state .
” Our Governor has always reiterated his desire to develop sports at the grassroots and he won’t stop at nothing , the desired goals must be achieved and that’s why we are planning towards achieving great results early enough “
Also, the move is targeted at allowing various members of each sporting committee to have a robust deliberation and strategize on how previous achievements can be surpassed and address challenges headlong .
Commissioner, Youths Development and sports, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye in a release he personally signed urged members of the committee to give their best.
The committee members are prominent Ondo state indigenes philanthropist and sporting experts
Members will be inaugurated by the Sports loving Governor of Ondo state , Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa

It could be recalled that Ondo state came 12th at the just concluded National youth games in Asaba , Delta state with 16 medals surpassing previous achievements at the games last year.
