Ondo Govt Presents Cheque Worth Over #14M for Renovation of School, Construction of Motorized Borehole at Okeilero Itaoniyan-Isinkan

***As Olu Okeilero Itaoniyan-Isinkan, Adekanbi-Obe Applauds Gesture, Promises to Facilitate More Life-Changing Projects

As part of its commitment towards rural development, the Ondo State Government through the State Community and Social Development Agency (ODCSDA), has presented cheque worth over N14 million to Oke-ilero Itaoniyan Isinkan Community in Akure West LCDA.

The amount was for the renovation of Mount Carmel Primary School, Itaoniyan-Isinkan and construction of solar powered motorized borehole at Oke-Ilero Isinkan.

The entire community formerly known as Ago Iralepo was agog as residents, trooped out to witness the presentation of the cheque to their traditional leader.

The projects were facilitated by the Olu OkeIlero Itaoniyan-Isinkan, Olu Akinwumi Adekanbi-Obe.

Presentating the cheque on Thursday at mount Carmel Primary school, Itaoniyan-Isinkan, the General Manager, ODCSDA, Mr. Olatubosun Ogundipe said government established the agency to improve access to services for human development and empowering communities for sustainable development.

He said the communities are empowered to identify, implement, maintain and use community social development plans.

He commended the government for its supports to the agency and its determination to develop and improve the well being of the rural dwellers.

“Through the agency the Ondo State government has touched lives.” He said

The Operations manager, Olumide Igbaroola said the projects would be completed within 60 days

He tasked Residents to take ownership of the projects and use them judiciouslyjudiciously when completed.

Mr Igbaroola urged contractors to handle the projects to consider Artisans in the community for the execution of the projects to boost their livelihood.

The Olu Okeilero Itaoniyan-Isinkan, Olu Akinwumi Adekanbi-Obe thanked the state government for the gesture saying it would go a long way to boost teaching and learning of pupils in the community.

He also said “when completed the Motorized borehole would have put an end to the stress being faced in search for drinkable water especially during drying season.

The retired Military Officer applauded the support and cooperation of the residents of the community over the realization of the project.

Olu Adekanbi-Obe also thanked the Iralepo of Isinkan Oba (Barrister) Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III) and the Iralepo council of Chiefs for their encouragement

He promised to facilitate more Life-Changing projects to the community.

“I want to tell you that we, the Olus in Isinkan kingdom have resolved to facilitate development to our LCDA, this we ‘ll do with all our power and commitment. This resolution is also in tandem with agenda of Iralepo of Isinkan Oba (Barrister) Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III) who dreams and thinks of development of Isinkan kingdom at all times.” Olu Adekanbi-Obe added.
