Ondo: gods of iron ‘ogun’ uniquely powerful —Ayadi of Ore

Ogun,the gods of iron has been identified as one of the powerful traditional worship capable of protecting and providing for its people which based on truth among its worshippers particularly in Yoruba land.

The AYADI of Ore Kingdom, High Chief Tope Ijiniga who doubled as Olu Isese of Odigbo Kingdom disclosed this during this year’s Ore Ogun Festival in Ore, Odigbo Council area of the state.

High Chief Ijiniga noted that Ogun known for the truth is also saddles with accountability to protect and guide its people from all forms of calamities and make provisions for them when called upon.

The AYADI of Ore also the yearly Ogun Festival in Ore as part of traditional celebration in Yoruba land is necessitated for Community protection,calmness and make its people free from sicknesses and other spiritual problems.

Expressing pessimism on the demis of the Late Olore, High Chief Tope Ijiniga identified the late Oba Johnson Adeola Olatomide as a great loss to people of Ore Kingdom and Ondo State at large, describing roles of the late monarch in yearly Ogun Ore as irreplaceable.

High Chief Tope Ijiniga however prayed for peace and progress of Ore and for the state at large, urging people of Ondo State to be of good ambassadors of their families especially as the state is preparing for its governorship election comes October 10 this year.
