The traditional rites of Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Olugbenga Ojo Arulewolasi 111 has continued with conferment of “Orunmobato” title on him.
Conferring the title, the Asamo of Isinkan, High Chief Michael Afere said It was in line with the custom and tradition of isinkan people.
The “Orunmobato” which is Omowa’s title is one of the steps Oba Ojo would take before he is crowned as Iralepo.
He had at mid-night on Sunday gone through “Orikogbofo” rite where the Iralepo-elect dropped the usual cap for the traditional one.
The Elemo of Isinkan and Chairman of Kingmakers, High chief, Olasehinde Abidakun announced that the next rite for the Iralepo-elect would be a visit to the farm after which there would be a seclusion at High chief Asamo’s house Isinkan.
He said this would be followed by “Ina arapon” and climbing of “Okiti Omolore” after which the Monarch would enter the palace.
Oba Olugbanga Ojo was selected as Iralepo-elect last Thursday after defeating four other contestants.
