**Solicits Support for the “Owena Waves”
The Iralepo of Isinkan , Oba (Barrister) Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III) has expressed confidence in Sunshine Stars Football Club to excel in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League Season.
The Isinkan Monarch who registered his presence at the Ondo State Sports Complex On Saturday September 30th, cheered Sunshine Stars to victory in the season opener against Kano Pillars.
At the end of the match which sunshine stars emerged winner 1-0 against Kano Pillars, Ọba Olofin Adimula commended the team’s performance describing it as a perfect outing to herald a successful season
” It is imperative for me to come out today to support our own darling team sunshine stars as they begin a new season for them to know that they are not alone and that they have my support 100 percent.
“Our Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is ensuring that he supports this team for more success, and for me I will give my own encouragement just like I have come today.
“This team is made of stars and I am optimistic that we will fight for the title this season”
He solicited the support of spirited Nigerians and football enthusiasts for Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure and the Nigerian football League.
Sunshine stars finished 4th last season in the super six playoff and fans are optimistic that they will do better this period
