Ondo state Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu today said statistic has shown that his estranged Deputy, Hon Agboola Ajayi, the most powerful and highest paid deputy governor in Nigeria, but he betrayed his trust in him.
Agboola had dumped the ruling APC and joined the PDP to contest the governorship primary but defected to the ZLP after losing the PDP ticket yo Eyitayo Jegede.
Agboola also survived impeachment plot from the Ondo state House of Assembly.
Speaking on a radio independence day yoruba programme in Akure and monitored by SUNSHINETRUTH, Akeredolu disclosed that no Deputy Governor except Agboola is going home with N13million every month as security vote, salary and other allowances.
The governor insisted that Agboola who is the ZLP governorship candidate would regret all his actions when he gets defeated on October 10.
On what led to disagreement between him and his deputy, Akeredolu said he made Agboola comfortable and he could not understand why he was so desperate to unseat him.
