In his continuous effort towards contributing to the academic progress of youths and students in his Constituency, the Lawmaker Representing Akure South Constituency 1, Hon Simeon Toluwani Borokini Rolled out another batch of Schorlaship and Education Support to 30 youths of the St David’s Cathedral Church Akure, Ondo state.
The Scholarship came as the lawmakers contribution to the youths anniversary of the Cathedral and as an encouragement to boost the morale of the young ones who are thriving in their different academic fields despite the challenges facing the education sector in the country.
Hon Borokini said, “since education remains a major tool to strengthen our society and reshape it to a sanner clime, it becomes inexcusable the dire need to assist those who are striving to attain their desired academic goals.
We’ve been on projects like this long before now and this office we’re occupying now has just given us a better platform to improve and showcase our agelong dreams and aspirations in the education sector.”
It is on record that since his assumption of office, the Parliamentarian has been consistently providing succor to the youths in areas of Education Support, capacity building, scholarships, government facilitated Bursary, donation of learning materials, school renovations and more through his Foundation, The Simeon Toluwani Borokini Foundation.
