The First Female Army General in Ondo State, General Bolanle Ajayi has congratulated the state governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa over his emergence as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming November governorship election in the State.
Governor Aiyedatiwa defeated other 15 aspirations in the APC primary election held on the 20th of April, 2024.
In a statement, General Ajayi said, “I congratulate Your Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for clinching the ticket of the party after a keenly contested primary election.”
“Your emergence will no doubt enable you to build on the foundation you have laid. It is also a testament that you are popular amongst members of your political party.”
“In a contest like this, where all candidates belong to a progressive family, definitely someone will emerge victorious.”
The second female Army General in the South West also appreciated the other contestants for demonstrating spirit of sportsmanship before, during and after the process.
General Ajayi equally appreciated all her political networks for their unwavering support at all levels.
