President mohammodu Buhari has pledged to making Nigeria a country that generations on board will be proud off.
The President gave this commitment while receiving his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC at the national collation centre in Abuja following his victory at the just concluded presidential election.
The 2019 presidential election is over. Over 15 million Nigerians last Saturday spoke through their votes to reelect the incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari for another four years.
Buhari the candidate of the all progressives Congress and incumbent president was last night declared winner of the 2019 presidential election, defeating his closest rival, Atiku abubarka of the PDP who settled for over 11 million votes.
And inline with the electoral law, the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari and the vice president-elect, professor yemi osinbajo are here in company of party stalwarts to receive their certificate of return.
First to receive the certificate was the vice president-elect, prof. Osinabjo who was accompnied by his wife dolapo.
Then came came the turn if the man of the moment, president buhari who walked tall to the podium with his wife.
The president who appreciated Nigerians for the confidence reposed in him promised to run an all inclusive government for the progress of the country.
He said the country under his watch will witness unprecedented turnaround in all sectors, rededicating himself to building a prosperous country for the generations unborn.
While commiserating with those who lost their Libes to election, urged Nigerians not to see elections as a war but a platform for choosing right leaders for the country.This is he second to the final leg of the electoral process as the president is expected to be sworn-in for another four years in office on the 29th of may, this year.
