Anxiety as 11 persons die of Coronavirus in one day, Ondo records 9 cases

There was an anxiety in the last 24hours in the country as the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed that eleven patients died as a result of COVID-19 related complications in the last one day.
NCDC disclosed this via its Twitter account, adding that 1,016 new infections of the virus were also recorded in the country.
The NCDC said that the new infections were reported from 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases across the country to 86,576, with 1278 deaths recorded.
The tweet read: “1,016 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-434, FCT-155, Plateau-94, Kaduna-56, Rivers-56 and Oyo-30.
Other states are; Nasarawa-27, Zamfara-25, Abia -22, Enugu-18, Kano-18, Bayelsa-15, Edo-14, Ogun-11, Borno-10, Ebonyi-10, Jigawa-7, Anambra -4, Delta-3, Niger-3, Osun-3.

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed nine fresh cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Ondo state, even as seven hundred and forty nine new cases have been recorded in 19 states.
According to daily update on NCDC verified twitter handle, Lagos recorded 299 new cases in the last 24hours and followed by Plateau state with 131 fish cases.
Other states with new Infections are Kaduna-83, FCT-74, Kwara-35, Sokoto-26, Edo-18, Kano-17 and Katsina-16.
NCDC also confirmed eleven new cases in Delta state, Nasarawa-10, Ondo state 9, Bauchi-9, Rivers-5, Akwa Ibom-3, Jigawa-1, Osun-1 and Ekiti-1.
