Akeredolu Approves Day System for Unity Schools in Ondo

Ondo State government has approved daysystem to compliment the boarding system of unity secondary Schools in the state.

The permanent secretary ministry of education science and technology, Mrs Lola Amuda made this known during an inspection tour of the unity secondary school examination held across the state today.

18,195 candidates sat for the exam in 52 centers across the state.

Accreditation and screening of pupils from different schools paved way for the beginning of the 2021 unity secondary School examination in Ondo state.

The state ministry of education, science and technology is leaving nothing to chance to ensure that the exercise is hitch free

Led by the Permanent Secretary of he ministry, Mrs Lola Amuda officials monitored accredicted centers for the examination in Akure south local government area.

At St. Peters unity school, Akure pupils were already served papers for the commencement of the examination.

The team also moved to Oyemekun grammar school, Akure, St.louis girls Grammer school, CAC grammar school Akure, Ijomimo high school, St.Michaels Catholic high school, Akure among others

The permanent secretary ministry of Education, science and technology Mrs Lola Amuda while expressing satisfaction on the conduct of the exam said 18,195 candidates sat for the examination in 52 centers.

Mrs Amuda hinted that Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved daysystem to compliment boarding system in three unity secondary schools in the state.

She said the system would start with Unity Schools in Epinmi Akoko, Owo and Ode-aye and it would begin next session.

The permanent secretary said results of the examination would be released within 48 hours.
