The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State on Friday joined admirers and political associates in celebrating its chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, as he marked his birthday.
In a goodwill message, the party’s State Working Committee described Adetimehin as a visionary leader who has made significant contributions to the growth and stability of the progressive fold in the state.
The party recalled his political journey, which began with his appointment as Special Assistant on Youths and Union Matters to the late Governor Adebayo Adefarati, before rising through the ranks as State Treasurer and Deputy Chairman of the APC.
Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Alex Kalejaye, in a statement, noted that Adetimehin’s political acumen and loyalty have strengthened the APC, while also making him a formidable force to opposition parties.
“To other parties, the Idanre-born tactician is a political terror. He has supervised the weakening of many of them, while canvassing cohesion within the ruling APC. The party celebrates a bridge builder and a leader who understands the grassroots politics of every ward across the state,” Kalejaye said.
The APC prayed for continued good health and long life for Adetimehin, describing him as a “loyal and committed chieftain.”
