The new leadership of the Online Media Professionals of Nigeria (OMP), Ondo State Chapter, has been formally inaugurated.
The colourful ceremony, held at the NUJ Press Centre, Alagbaka, Akure, drew prominent figures from the media industry, including the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, Prince Leke Adegbite.
In his address, Prince Adegbite congratulated the newly inaugurated executives and underscored the importance of credibility and professionalism among online media practitioners. He also pledged the NUJ’s continued support in the areas of capacity building and professional collaboration.
Speaking on behalf of the new team, Joseph Adesuyan, Chairman of OMP, expressed his commitment to repositioning the association for greater impact.
He promised to prioritise training, welfare, and inclusiveness, while fostering unity among members.
“We are determined to promote harmony among practitioners and ensure that OMP remains a force to be reckoned with in the Sunshine State,” Adesuyan said.
