The Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba (Barr.) Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula, Arulewolasi III, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his coronation.
In a goodwill message from the Isinkan Palace, Oba Olofin-Adimula described the anniversary as a remarkable milestone and a testimony to the Deji’s resilience, and commitment to the progress of Akure Division.
He lauded the Deji’s efforts in preserving Akure’s cultural heritage and advancing development initiatives within the region over the past decade.
The Iralepo particularly acknowledged the role of the Deji in maintaining stability in a changing world and commended his dedication to the well-being of the people.
“Your reign has reflected a deep understanding of Akure people’s values and aspirations. You have demonstrated leadership in times of calm and challenges alike”, he said
Oba Arulewolasi emphasized that Akure Division, with its rich cultural tapestry and diverse traditional authorities, can achieve greater unity and progress when there is interrelationships, regard for culture and norms, respect, and open dialogue among all traditional institutions.
“Our strength lies in unity. It is my humble appeal that the next chapter of your reign will be marked by greater inclusiveness, ensuring that all royal stools within Akure-speaking areas are meaningfully carried along in consultations and collective decisions to shape our future,” the Iralepo said
He stressed that enhanced synergy among traditional rulers would not only strengthen cultural identity but also send a strong message of oneness to the younger generation and stakeholders across the state.
Oba Olofin-Adimula prayed for divine guidance, wisdom, and continued good health for Oba Aladetoyinbo, expressing optimism that his reign will continue to be a source of pride to the people of the Akure Division.
He concluded by reaffirming the enduring spirit of royal brotherhood and the importance of working together as custodians of heritage, peace, and prosperity for all.
