***Ijare-born politician commends tribunal verdicts affirming Governor’s mandate
A renowned philanthropist and entrepreneur, Mr. Samuel Ajayi, has joined other well-meaning citizens of Ondo State and beyond in commending Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his approach to governance over the last 100 days.
In a statement released by his media team in Akure, Ajayi noted that the Governor has demonstrated genuine commitment to the development of the state, winning the confidence of the people through purposeful leadership.
According to the Ijare-born politician, the Governor’s focus on infrastructure is a signpost of the urban renewal and development agenda that will define Ondo State in the coming years. He noted that such strides are already attracting interest from investors, which bodes well for the state’s socio-economic and political growth.
“Infrastructural projects such as the dualisation of the Akure–Idanre road, and the flag-off of the Okitipupa–Igbokoda and Akungba–Ikare road projects, are significant steps in the right direction,” Ajayi said.
He also commended the administration’s prioritisation of workers’ welfare, noting that the prompt payment of salaries and allowances has boosted morale in the public sector.
Ajayi further urged residents across the state’s three senatorial districts to continue to embrace peace, stressing that meaningful development can only take place in a stable and secure environment.
He used the opportunity to applaud the recent election tribunal verdicts affirming Governor Aiyedatiwa’s mandate, describing them as a validation of the people’s will and a victory for democracy.
