The Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba (Barr.) Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula, Arulewolasi III, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in the ancient Kingdom of Isinkan, Ondo State, and across Nigeria as they join millions of faithful around the world to celebrate this year’s Eid el-Adha.
In a heartfelt message from the palace of Isinkan, the revered monarch described Eid el-Adha as a festival of profound spiritual significance, urging Muslim faithful in Isinkan and across Ondo State to reflect on the timeless lessons of obedience, sacrifice, and unwavering faith demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
“As our Muslim brothers and sisters observe this sacred festival through prayers, symbolic sacrifice, and acts of generosity, I call on all the faithful in Isinkan and Ondo State to embrace the core values that Eid promotes, compassion, selflessness, and unity,” the monarch stated.
Oba Olofin-Adimula emphasized the importance of these values in strengthening community bonds and fostering peace in a time when Nigeria faces pressing economic and social challenges.
“Our communities and our nation need healing, understanding, and a renewed sense of collective responsibility. I urge all Muslim faithful in Isinkan, Ondo State, and beyond to use this holy occasion to pray fervently for enduring peace, economic recovery, and political stability,” he added.
He also encouraged acts of kindness and solidarity, especially towards the less privileged, noting that the true spirit of Eid lies in sharing, empathy, and togetherness.
“Let us remember those in need, extend kindness to the poor, and open our hearts to the spirit of unity that binds us as one people under God,” the Iralepo said.
