Arise Legacy Charitable Foundation has congratulated Col Roland Omowa Rtd on his conferment with National Award of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic* ( M.F.R ) by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
This was contained in a Statement signed by the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Foundation , Mr Festus Kayode Arishe, who described the honour as well deserved.
“As an Army Officer, you joined others to serve the Country and save her from disintegration.
No wonder, the military Institution had much trust in you and made you the ADC to the then President and Commander in Chief of the Country, Gen Olusegun Obasanjo Rtd.
After leaving the service, you continued to serve your father land in various capacities. You represented the country as an Ambassador for four years.
At the local scene, you have continued to identify with the people.
It is our hope that, as you prepare to celebrate your 80th birthday, come 5th of November, you will continue to dedicate the rest of your life towards serving God and Humanity. While appreciating you for standing with the mission and vision of this Foundation, we however wish to assure you that, we will not relent on our efforts to improve on the lives of the indigent people in our community, Oka- Akoko and it’s environs.
