The Aare Bamero Oodua and Chairman of the College of Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria, Engr. Tunji Ariyomo, has described the wife of the governor of Ondo State as a gift to the country.
In a statement released in Abuja on the 70th birthday of the first lady, Ariyomo stated that “as we continue to hear the cheering news of the recovery of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, one must join millions across the world to wish his heartthrob, Chief (Mrs.) Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, a happy 70th birthday.
“We acknowledge that this is a challenging time but be rest assured of our solidarity with your family and the unwavering capacity of God to complete the healing process he has started”.
Tunji Ariyomo who was the pioneer Coordinator of the State’s Information Technology Agency in the administration of Governor Olusegun Agagu added that “Mrs Akeredolu, Mama Digital, is one of a kind first lady and this much must be acknowledged as proven by her numerous accomplishments. She is a gift to the nation. As a down to earth individual with no room for guile, Arakunrin is blessed to have walked his impressive matrimonial journey with Betty Akeredolu”.
The engineer further stated that “since yesterday, I have read goodwill messages directed at Arabirin from all over the world and I dare say this is deserving and I do hope that our outpouring of what you mean to us would further cheer you up at this time”.
“On behalf of my wife and kids, I wish you many happy returns. May the forces continue to align in your favour” the statement concluded.
