The nine months drama in Ondo State, obviously left keen watchers agaped as issues emanating from the Sunshine State were hitting headlines in the media. Nigerians began to wonder why on earth would a group of individuals hold about four million people to ransom and left the state economy prostrated.
The power struggle produced antagonists and protagonists. Why some were fighting to grab the treasury of the state and ready to destroy Aketi’s legacies others were on a rescue mission and in defence of the Nigerian constitution.
At the centre of the imbroglio was a very committed, diligent, fearless and a dogged fighter – the late governor of the state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN OON who was battling to survive due to health challenge.
The Cabals’ hijack of the system and shunning out fake information about Aketi’s health psychologically affected the people of the state who had hitherto been praying for the then Governor. The people were tired!
When the cabals “grabbed power”, forgery festered, deceit became order of the day. Again, the state was in the media for negativity.
Some people rose vehemently against the manipulators by exposing their antics and consistently pointing out dangers the attitude of usurpers potend to the Nigerian Constitution and democracy.
Just imagine what would have happened if these crop of people stood alof and kept mute.
Now, disgruntled elements are shouting from the rooftops about rewards. Who should Aiyedatiwa would have rewarded if not those who stood by him and the Nigerian constitution?

“Falling out of love is hard
Falling for betrayal is worse
Broken trust and broken hearts”
Aiyedatiwa couldn’t have rewarded those who fell out, betrayed him and got his heart broken. It is impossible!!!
The recent appointments made by the governor are commendable. The six Commissioner Nominees and the three appointed Special Advisers are known Ondo State indigenes with track records.
The Governor, Aiyedatiwa should be appreciated for rewarding these patriots rather than the crying of foul by the political jobbers.
