Ondo state is a secular state with Christianity and Islam as the two dominant religions.
In 2017 when the Akeredolu administration came on board, he promptly began the process of building a mosque in the government house. The government did not just build a place of worship for the Muslim faithful in the government house, it put in place a structure that truly befits the religion of five pillars.
