**As AKSLG Presents Law Establishing new LCDA to Iralepo
The Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III) has promised massive support for the take-off of Akure West Local Council Development Area.
The Isinkan Monarch made the pledge while receiving officials of Akure South local government on Friday at Ita-Owa in Isinkan.
The local government delegation was led by the Head of Local government Administration, Pastor Oladipo Israel Olajide who came to inspect the site of the secretariat of the new LCDA at Igboyeye in Isinkan.
The Akure West LCDA with its headquarters in Isinkan is one of the 33 LCDAs created by the Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN.
The Akure West LCDA comprises ward 1, 2 and 3 – the traditional land of Isinkan kingdom.
The Iralepo’s palace at Ita-owa in Isinkan was filled to capacity with Senior High chiefs, High Chiefs, Iyalajes, Olus and representatives from the three wards as well as eminent sons and daughters of Isinkan kingdom who came to be a part of the epoch making event.
The elated Oba Olofin-Adimula said the creation of the LCDA in Isinkan is a dream come true as the people had worked and prayed vigorously for it.
The Iralepo thanked the state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and others who were instrumental to the creation.
He assured that the people of Isinkan kingdom would poll resources to make the secretariat an envy of others.
While highlighting the importance of the council to the overall development of Isinkan kingdom, Oba Olofin-Adimula sought his subjects’ maximum support for the LCDA.
“I’m eternally grateful to our amiable and indefatigable Governor for this giant stride. We in Isinkan know the value of the creation. It will bring unprecedented socio-economic development to our kingdom. Our children will now get jobs, there will be more infrastructural development in all the nooks and cranies of our town.”
“I even forsee a period when the current LCDA will be bifurcated and we will have more executive chairmen, councillors, house of assembly members and even, a Senator. Isinkan land is big enough for it”, the Monarch added.
The Head of Akure South Local Government Administration, Pastor Oladipo Israel Olajide said thier visit was to prepare the group for Ondo State Government:s officials who are billed to inspect the secretariat next week.
He said government is eager for the take-off of the LCDA and pleaded for support from the people of Isinkan.
Highpoint of the visit was the presentation of the law establishing Akure West LCDA to the Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Olofin-Adimula by Pastor Olajide.
The Iralepo thereafter led the local government team and the people of Isinkan to Igboyeye, besides Saint Louis Girls Grammar School, Isinkan. the site of the Akure West LCDA secretariat.
The team was welcomed by many card carrying party members of all the major political parties who put away their difference to rejoice.
They were also received by teeming youths and women organisations with various inscriptions thanking the state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for the creation of the new LCDA and the recognition of Isinkan town as its headquarters.
