The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has commended the Muslim Ummah for the successful completion of this year fast, and celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye the party noted that the gains of such spiritual sacrifice and exercise, which include rejuvenation of individual’s prayer life, could not be overemphasized.
- Ondo APC rejoiced with all it’s members in particular, and entire Muslim Ummah, calling on them to see consistent praying as a way of life.
“We congratulate you on the spiritual exercise and sacrifice. While celebrating, we appeal that you remember to show love by sharing with others.
“There is no doubt that your prayer life has been rejuvenated, in the last one month, the zeal should be sustained, in the interest of Nigeria and humanity,” the statement added.
While assuring that APC-led government would continue to prioritize good governance, with people’s well-being at the nucleus of every policy, the party canvassed support for the government.
Ahead of the forthcoming primary, the State chapter further appealed to the political class, to always place State interest ahead of personal considerations.
The ruling party applauded “the encouraging conducts” of its members, since the commencement of campaigns for governorship primary, and urged them to sustain the feat.
