International Commissioner, the Scout Association of Nigeria, Dr. Scot O. Aigbovia, has felicitated all members of the Association and Scouter’s world wide on the this year’s Easter celebration.
In a message, Dr Aigbovia said “the humble birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, His teachings and subsequent travails and death should be a lesson for all of us that, love, peace and humility should be the foundation and pillars of our actions, words and thoughts.
Let us in conformity with Christ’s teachings, be obedience to God Almighty, and be a source of happiness to others. We should be conscious of the needs of the less privileged in our Society and make them feel happy.
Let us also seize this occasion to pray for our dear Country, Nigeria, the Scout Association of Nigeria and every family to overcome challenges.
Let us remember that the Scout’s laws fulfill the core of Christ teachings. Therefore, we should begin to emphasize and interpret the laws in a manner that will transform our Country, Nigeria.”
