One of the purpose of reunion was achieved in Ado Ekiti on Saturday as old students of Christ’s school met the principal who graduated them.
The development was just lime an home movie as both students and the principal recounted their experiences while in the school.
Addressing the students, the principal who is now a former Commissioner for Education in Ekiti State, Mr. Kehinde Ojo charged the old boys and girls to be men and women of good character.
He stressed the need for the year 2000 set not to allow challenges hinder them from achieving their life goals urging them to be ready to give back to their Alma mater.
In their separate remarks, the chairman of the boy’s arm, Mr Ayomiposi Ojo and his counterpart in the girl’s section, Mrs Damilola Iyaniwura expressed delight at coming together after twenty years of graduation acknowledging that such had enabled them know of one another’s well-being.
They promised that the set was ready to contribute its quota to the growth of Christ School, AdoEkiti, which had given them the foundation to become successful in life.
However, the election which was expected to usher in new leaders for the set earlier scheduled to hold during the reunion has been postponed till February next year to allow for full participation of more members.
